The Bronx Hispanic Festival promotes awareness and appreciation of the Hispanic culture through it's exhibitions, cultural programs, and website publications.

It is the mission of The Bronx Hispanic Festival to present the work of both established and emerging Latin Amercian artists through it's programs and Annual Biennial Exhibition.

Presented in 2012, the Third Bronx Latin American Art Biennial was called  Dynamic Convention and was exhibited at the The Gordon A. Parks Gallery & Cultural Arts Center Gallery on the John Cardinal O’Connor Campus, South Bronx.

Premonitions was presented at the Gordon Parks Gallery and was a component of the First Bronx Latin American Art Biennial in 2008 curated by Luis Stephenberg, Alexis Mendoza, and Miguel Lescano.

Since the staging of a pre-Biennial in 2007, Luis Stephenberg, Alexis Mendoza, and Miguel Lescano have presented art exhibitions, free and open to the public, every two years at a number of locations in the Bronx.

The Box Art Project or "Cajarte 2007" was part of the original Biennial exhibit called the Pre-Biennial. Curators Alexis Mendoza, Miguel Lescano, and Luis Stephenberg began their series of Annual exhibitions with the First Bronx Latin American Art Biennial in 2008.

Since the staging of the pre-Biennial in 2007, Luis Stephenberg, Alexis Mendoza, and Miguel Lescano have presented art exhibitions every other year starting in 2008.
